Anne Krayer
Mae gennyf ddiddordeb ym meysydd eang y ddarpariaeth gwasanaeth iechyd i bobl sydd â salwch iechyd meddwl a gweithio gyda dulliau naratif. Mae fy nghefndir ym maes iechyd y cyhoedd a hybu iechyd a chwblheais fy PhD am ganfyddiadau ynghylch delwedd y corff ymhlith pobl ifanc yn 2009.
Rwy’n gweithio ar y GCRF – SASHI, Menter Meithrin Gallu Ymchwil Hunan-niwedio De Asia (2017 – 2024). Mae’r project cydweithredol hwn yn canolbwyntio ar ganfod atebion effeithiol i hunan-niwedio a hunanladdiad yn Ne Asia trwy adeiladu seilwaith ymchwil ac arbenigedd.
Rwy’n ymwneud â phroject arall i werthuso Grŵp Cynghori Moeseg Glinigol (CEAG) mewn ymddiriedolaeth iechyd meddwl (2021 – 2024). Mae CEAG yn chwarae rhan bwysig i sicrhau safonau uchel o arfer moesegol trwy ymgynghori ar achosion a datblygu polisi. Yr Athro Huxley sy’n arwain y gwaith.

I am a member of the international committee organising the qualitative research in mental health conference. This bi-annual conference is an international transdisciplinary forum for dedicated qualitative research on a range of topics in the field of mental health, using a variety of methodologies and approaches.
I supervise Masters and PhD students. Examples of research projects include:
- Service user and caregiver involvement in Low and Middle-Income countries: A scoping review.
- Optimising the effectiveness of Education about Psychosis in improving understanding and reducing stigmatising attitudes (ESRC DTP PhD Studentship)
- What interventions are available for homeless people who have experienced childhood trauma? A systematic review.
I also teach the public health nutrition module and qualitative methods at postgraduate level and I am a member of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences Ethics committee.
