The importance of digital technology in health and social care has increased in recent years. This importance has been recognised by WHO, Digital Health and Care Wales, Digital Communities Wales, EU Health and Social Care and the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
Our research focuses on the following areas:
- Digital inclusion and digital skills in under-served populations.
- The impact of social media and the internet on children and young people.
- The use of virtual reality in mental and emotional health and wellbeing.
- Digitally supported therapeutic interventions e.g. DIALOG.
