10th Anniversary for the National Centre for Mental Health (NCMH)

On 12th October 2021 NCMH marked ten years of mental health research with a special afternoon of webinars chaired by the Welsh National Centre for Mental Health director Professor Ian Jones.  The Centre for Mental Health and Society (CFMHAS) at Bangor University works in close partnership with NCMH. Bangor University Internship Scheme 2021: Alicja Gromadzka

During my first year of studies at Bangor University, I had the pleasure to be an intern in the Centre for Mental Health and Society, and work on the systematic review of Goldberg and Huxley Pathways to Care model. As an intern, I was responsible for the scoping and searching process which resulted in further data gathering for the systematic review. Bangor University Internship Scheme 2021: Daniel Lai Jie

I was recently part of the team conducting a systematic review on ‘Goldberg and Huxley Pathways to Care Model’. Having an avid interest for research, this internship experience has given me a glimpse into how the field works. I was responsible for conducting the scoping searches for PsycINFO, which contributed to the development of the search strategy (applied to other engines like Pubmed, CINAHL, Etc).
