Trosolwg

Mae diddordebau ymchwil Diane yn cynnwys: gofalwyr a rhoi gofal; asesu a rheoli gofal; dementia; y rhyngwyneb iechyd a gofal cymdeithasol; a nyrsio a darpariaeth cartrefi gofal preswyl. Mae wedi bod yn gysylltiedig â datblygiad rhaglen ymchwil lwyddiannus sy’n ymwneud â gofalwyr, sydd wedi denu grantiau ymchwil gan amrywiaeth eang o gyrff cyllido, gan gynnwys yr Adran Iechyd, Llywodraeth Cymru a’r Gronfa Loteri Fawr. Mae Diane wedi cynghori ar ddatblygiad polisi cenedlaethol, gan gynnwys gweithredu fel Cynghorydd Arbenigol ar ofal yn y cartref i Bwyllgor Dethol ar Faterion Cymreig Tŷ’r Cyffredin. Mae hefyd wedi arwain adolygiadau o weithredu  polisi cenedlaethol, gan gynnwys gwerthuso’r Strategaethau Cenedlaethol ar gyfer Gofalwyr yn Lloegr ar ran yr Adran Iechyd, ac yng Nghymru ar ran Llywodraeth Cymru, yn ogystal â gwerthusiad Cymru Gyfan o’r Broses Asesu Unedig. Mae ei phrosiectau ymchwil eraill wedi ymdrin ag oedolion sydd wedi goroesi ar ôl cael eu cam-drin fel plant.
